Addie has slowed down time so that her and her friends can escape from Bobby and so he can pretty much be arrested for being a serial killer. Split Second picks up where Pivot Point leaves off. To make a long story short, I loved this sequel.

I was already invested and my investment feelings were super high. I didn’t have months between to forget what happened. I found that having Split Second on hand after I finished Pivot Point heightened my enjoyment of the sequel. Yet, I think that there’s also something special about reading through a series of books all at once. Yes, there’s something magical in the anticipation of a new book to release. Friends, I think that maybe series or duologies or trilogies might be meant to be binge read. I mean, I decided to whip through Kasie West’s books and I have just finished Split Second, the sequel to Pivot Point and am finding myself totally satisfied with what I have been reading. I am thisclose to patting myself on the back for my good life choices this weekend. MAJOR SPOILERS FOR PIVOT POINT AHEAD because I totally cannot talk about the plot of Split Second without spoiling Pivot Point.
